Criteria and information
We would like to integrate your expertise in our preparations for the LEARNTEC convention 2024 and the special fair programme (AR/VR and university). Accordingly, this Call for Papers is designed to give you the opportunity to contribute your ideas for potential topics and speakers (in German or English).
In order to meet the high expectations of our convention participants, we have defined a number of criteria determining the level of quality that we expect from the presentations and speakers.
We want to push ahead with the expansion of interactive and collaborative formats in the convention.Therefore, we are also looking forward to submissions, which in addition to an exciting topic also contain a short concept for collaborative formats, which we can implement in the convention

The topic
- must be either of great practical relevance or relate to the cutting edge of science.
- In the case of practically-oriented topics, it should be possible to transfer the example to other companies or educational institutions.
- In the case of scientific topics, a specific problem should exist and be explained.
- should either be highly innovative or the speaker should be an acknowledged expert in the field in question.
- can also be hold as an interactive and collaborative format
The presentation
- may not constitute advertising for a company or product.
- should be focused on practical, real-life examples. We would like to request not to select own employees as speakers. Please nominate a customer with its own practical example.
- We are happy to hear english-speaking speakers.
The speaker
- should have good oratory skills.
- should be able to present the innovative content in an interesting way.
- Title of presentation
- Description of presentation content (max. 1 A4 pages)
- Possible speaker (name, company or educational institution, position)
- Details on the speaker (2 to 3 sentences)
- Contact details for the speaker
- Which area does this topic belong to, please choose maximum 2 areas.
- If applicable concept of interactive or collaborative format
- After you have submitted your contribution, the LEARNTEC convention committee as well as the advisory committee will evaluate it and decide whether to include it in the final programme structure.
- Please note that for organisational reasons, we cannot always include contributions which are classified as excellent.
- Submissions that are accepted will be presented as part of the convention and published for the event. Please note that the presentation has to be available for the convention participants as a handout.
