Entries for the delina award are officially open, and you have until October 26, 2025 to make your submis-sion. The award ceremony will take place on May 7, 2026 at LEARNTEC - THE most important event for digital education - at Messe Karlsruhe. delina promotes projects that integrate digital media and technologies in a didacti-cally meaningful way, and is targeted at companies, start-ups, universities, teachers and learners.

Applications are invited for the following categories:
- Early childhood education and school
- University - higher education
- Training and corporate education
- Society and lifelong learning
Stefanie Ruf, project manager at LEARNTEC, says: ‘Year after year, delina clearly shows us how quickly digital education is evolving. But it takes time for new digital tools to be reflected in the day-to-day work of educational institu-tions and companies. That’s why it is so important for us to provide a platform for industry accelerators and creative minds, and honour their achievements.’
2025 winners: Focus on gamification
A glance at this year's award winners reveals a trend towards game-based learning: the Hessian State Fire Service Academy won in the Training and Further Education category with its project ‘Self-sufficient training for fire brigade group leaders for computers and VR’ – a realistic application for pre-paring for firefighting operations. In the Society and Lifelong Learning cate-gory, gamelynk.io and the Institute of Romanic Studies at the University of Kassel were honoured for their project ‘Brains n' Bullets,’ which integrates vocabulary training into a playful shooter game. In the Early Childhood Edu-cation and School category, PHYWE Systeme GmbH & Co. KG and 3DQR GmbH impressed with their ‘TESS Augmented Reality’ project, which uses augmented reality to make scientific concepts vivid and intuitive. The project ‘AdLer - Adaptive Digital Learning Spaces’ - by the Technical University of Aschaffenburg (in cooperation with the University of Kempten) was honoured in the Higher Education category. It enables the creation of interactive 3D learning worlds with its own authoring tool.
