I have Master of Sceince degree (M.Sc.) in Digital Media from the International School of New Media at Luebeck University - Germany 2005-2007. During the same period I have been awarded DAAD scholarship for research purposes. I have a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialisation in Computer Systems Engineering from the Palestine Polytechnic University 1999 – 2004.
My current field of interest is the technical and social combination of ubiquitous and ambient computing (mobiles, smart objects, smart things, and context-based interaction) with web 2.0 to be applied in daily life and educational context scenarios.
Some of my projects in this field are "Medient : Ubiquitous Infrastrcture of Contexualised Exhibition Services", “Portnet navigator”, “eyeJOT: smart campus”, “campus memories: Learning with Contextualised Blogging”, "Pictory - A Hybrid Augmented Table-Top Game using Image Search Engines" and “competence transform”.
