e-Participation for European citizens in an e-Democracy
02/04/2009 14:15-14:40Rolf Luehrs is head of the department ‘Interactive Communication’ at the Hamburg
based TuTech Innovation GmbH, a company specialising in knowledge and technology
transfer. Rolf has been working for more than a decade in the elds of social
science, assessment of technology impact and Internet research and he has been
involved in many di erent national and European research and development projects.
He is author of numerous articles in scienti c journals, books and conference proceedings
in the eld of e-Democracy, e-Participation and e-Government. Since
2008 Rolf is the co-ordinator of the Pan European eParticipation Network (PEPNET).
